Reclay StewardEdge is happy to announce that Michael W. Zabaneh has joined our team in Toronto. Michael will be leading the Consulting Services Group in Canada expanding our existing service offerings to enhance the company’s ability to provide a broader range of sustainability services to meet clients’ needs and achieve their corporate sustainability goals.
Michael brings 17 years’ of experience from Canada, Europe, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Asia in the international strategic business and sustainable development field. His work has most recently been focused on public and private sector climate change, sustainable development, circular economy, and Cleantech advisory, projects and investments as Director, Climate Change & Sustainability Services at Ernst & Young and as Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at Bee’ah, a UAE based integrated waste management company. Michael has also held senior advisory roles for key Canadian and international circular economy and climate change projects with the United Nations Social Commission, the European Commission, British Columbia’s Ministry of Environment and the City of Hamilton.
Michael’s wide range of experience working in both private and public sectors, allows us to offer our clients a more extensive package of services and expertise. He brings to our clients skills in strategic development and in sustainability impact oriented projects that are pioneering to their respective markets. He has worked with leading organizations to maximize sustainable impact, create focused socioeconomic development programs, drive circular economies, reduce GHG emissions, generate new revenues, and reduce costs while mitigating reputational, social and environmental risks.
